MCP {#mcp}

MCP is the proper name for connecting the create side to Cursor or another editor. Side-panel AI Copilot remains the default; MCP is optional.

Setup

  1. Install and open the create side, then sign in.
  2. Open a game or scene desk (create session running).
  3. Open Settings → MCP and copy the URL / token / JSON.
  4. Paste into Cursor (or another MCP client) → Reload → approve the connection.

Notes

  • OpenWorld never rewrites your local mcp.json.
  • The token rotates with the create session — copy again after restart.
  • External clients and the side panel share the same world tools; avoid fighting over the same project.

CLI {#cli}

CLI ships with the create side — not a fourth installer.

  1. Install the create side.
  2. Open a terminal and go to the tools folder beside the install.
  3. Run ow (Python 3 required) and keep building by chat.

Use the same account as the create side. See also the CLI block on the download page.

Cloud Create {#cloud}

Coming soon. After the gate opens you can push creation in the cloud; play stays on the official player. Until then, use the local create side and AI Copilot.
